Two frame types for your PATCHBOX

Modular cassette system. Swap cables in seconds.

The PATCHBOX cassettes, made of high quality stainless steel, contain our flat network cables. To patch a cable, simply slide the cassette into the frame, which then snaps into a click system. Unlock the cable stop, pull the cable and snap the cable stop when you reach the desired length. Replacing a cassette is also easy. Unplug the cable and it will be pulled in automatically by the pulley. And last but not least: detach the cassette and take it out of the frame.

Flat network cables for more space

The easily interchangeable PATCHBOX cassettes contain flat Ethernet cables. These cables take up less space, are easier to bend, and perform better than most round cables. They are tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 Channel Class Ea and ANSI/EIA/TIA-568 Cat 6A Channel standard, RoHS-compliant and PoE-capable (STP: PoE / UTP: PoE++ Type 3). The network cables are available in several colors and variants: as shielded or unshielded Cat. 6a cable (STP/UTP) and also as fiber optic cable (OS2/OM4) - the only retractable fiber optic patch cords on the market . For the rare case that you need to patch from top to bottom, we have a special solution: The Long Range Cassette, which offers a maximum cable length of 2.5m (46U) instead of 1.8m (30U).

PATCHBOX Cat.6a cable

The flat Cat.6a network cables are tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 Channel Class Ea and ANSI/EIA/TIA-568 Cat 6A Channel standard, are RoHS-compliant and are available in eight different colors: black, white, red, green, blue , yellow, gray (STP only) and violet, as well as shielded (STP) and unshielded (UTP).

You want more speed? We offer the only retractable fiber optic patch cords for network closets made with Corning® fiber. These support up to 40 gigabits with OM4 and up to 100 gigabits with OS2 as well as LC-LC and LC-SC as standard.
